On the morning of Thursday, November 9, CBA held a special signing ceremony for three of our athletes to sign letters to play college baseball and lacrosse.

Nicolas Melillo has committed to play baseball at Siena College for Coach Rossi and the Saints. Nick is a three-year varsity baseball starter in centerfield. Nick adds speed and power to the Brothers’ line-up. In 2017, Nick started all 20 games and led the team in runs scored (19) and triples (3). He was second on the team in three statistics, batting average (.359), runs batted (16), and doubles (7). Nick has an on-base percentage of .494 and was 5 for 5 on stolen bases. Nick helped lead CBA to a record of 17-3 in 2017. As a sophomore, Nick played in all 30 games, scoring 15 runs, with 8 RBIs, and 7 stolen bases.

Pryce Wasula has committed to play baseball at The College of Saint Rose for Coach Jones and the Golden Knights. Pryce is a two-year varsity pitcher for CBA. He pitched in some of the biggest situations out of the bullpen in 2017. Pryce pitched 15 innings in 9 games with a 1.88 earned run average. Pryce was 1 and 0 with 13 strikeouts. Pryce will be a major part of the pitching staff for the 2018 season. Pryce is a hard worker and a great teammate on both the CBA basketball and baseball teams.

Dominic Meola has committed to play lacrosse at The College of Saint Rose for Coach Jim Morrissey. Dom is a 6′ 2″ defenseman and three-year varsity starter on the CBA lacrosse team. He will anchor the defense this year as a senior. Head Coach Rich Scully stated, “Coach Morrissey is getting a superior athlete, student, and citizen. Dom will make an immediate impact at St. Rose.”
