AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

The CBA Mothers Association is offering awards to graduating Seniors, Eighth Graders and Juniors. The criteria and description of the awards is set forth below. The Junior awards will be presented at the Fall Honors Night. The Senior and Eighth Grade awards will be presented at the respective graduations. Application deadlines for all three awards, is April 2, 2008. Nomination forms may be obtained in, and returned to, the Main Office.

CBA MOTHERS ASSOCIATION CHALLENGE AWARDS

These $200 cash awards will be given to a High School and 8th Grade graduate at the respective graduation ceremonies. Nominations may be submitted by students, faculty, parents and family members. Awards will be given to the selected students who have overcome physical, academic, emotional, or economic challenges. The nomination form will require a statement of how the student has overcome these challenges.

CBA MOTHERS ASSOCIATION CITIZENSHIP AWARD

An award of $100 will be offered to a junior at the Fall Honors Night Ceremony. This award will recognize contributions to church or place of worship, family, community or school. Nominations may be submitted from students, faculty, parents, neighbors, other family members, pastors or others who work with a particular student. A nomination form and statement will be required. Nomination forms will be available in the Main Office. The Committee will make selections in April each year.
