The 8th Grade Volunteers at Double H Ranch

On Friday, November 3, the 8th grade participated in a service day at the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne. Double H Ranch provides specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Students were welcomed to HH and taught about the history of HH by Board Member, Dr. Dennis McKenna ’84 and CEO, Mr. Max Yurenda. They then, broke up into groups to help clean up the grounds. The class worked for hours in the rain raking, clearing, bagging and hauling sticks and leaves into a truck to be taken away.
